Meet Our Founder
Dagmar graduated from Barry University with a master’s degree in Social Work and an undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist with over 12 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. She also serves as a state-qualified supervisor, mentoring and guiding clinicians in the field.
Dagmar previously worked in community mental health, serving a diverse population and providing psychotherapy and crisis intervention to children and families. This experience strengthened her ability to support clients through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges across all age groups.
She specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and supports clients facing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and issues related to motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. With a collaborative, client-centered approach, Dagmar helps individuals recognize unhelpful patterns, make healthier decisions, build stronger relationships, and create realistic, meaningful goals.
Dagmar is trained and certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). She incorporates both cognitive-behavioral and integrative therapeutic approaches, emphasizing the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Above all, Dagmar strives to create a warm, safe, and welcoming space where clients can express themselves openly without fear of judgment. She understands that seeking help takes courage and is deeply committed to guiding clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life—supporting and empowering them every step of the way
